If I blindfold you and drop you here, you won't know that you are in Sydney. This small Oasis is a present from Guangzhao. I visited this place 10 years ago and visited it again last year Dec. It looked exactly the same, perhaps the trees are older now, maybe some ducks have died but I can't really tell.
The entrance fee is pretty steep, I can't remember how much I paid 10 years ago. However I understand it's free on certain days. There's a lucrative costume shop within this garden. You can rent your favorite imperial costume for a fee and stroll around the garden in it. I am sure everyone gets a kick out of pretending to be the royal imperial family for an hour or so.
I did that 10 years ago with my cousins. That time I swear we were the only ones doing it. Last year, I saw a queue in front of the shop. I am quite proud of it. Looks like the Chinese culture have expanded and more widely accepted.
Don't they just look lovely? Maybe I can ask my sister to dress up and I take pictures of her. What you say, piggy sister?
